Our often imitated but never duplicated six-inch terracotta head planters do have a drainage hole and all adhesives used are a high-quality outdoor strength and industrial grade.   After a long career in corporate sales, I finally decided to leave during the pandemic. I knew I needed a new career where I could express my inner creativity. 

Sassy Soul Sister, LLC and the many head planter designs were born in late 2020. Over the years, our designs have been directly copied, even with our trademarks and patents in which we've spent thousands of dollars trying to protect. I was nearly over it all, questioning my decisions, about to give up, and then I realized this was only the beginning. 

I have always had a love for ceramics and pottery, so I started to figure out the art of hand building with clay, what kind of clay I liked, how to defy the laws of gravity with clay, the logistics of buying and firing up our very own Skutt kiln, whom we've named "Big Bertha".
